In future episodes I plan to cover topics such as social duty, masculinity, accountability, an...

I’ve been off the martial arts trip for a while, haven’t been teaching a class for a couple years, but with Covid locking many of us down, I’ve decided to start uploading some “Kali practice for the solo practitioner” videos. Somebody requested that I do more knife videos, which I’m a little conflicted about, so I decided to compromise with some Balisong manipulation stuff. I’ll be doing a lot ...

UnRest Ladies-Only Self Defense Seminar
Awesome😊
Grand Master Wally Jay is my hero!
Guro Ted gone too soon my friend.
Very informative, thank you Paul.
I trained with Leon Jay for a while, and finger locks are so effective and painful. No wonder small joint attacks are illegal in the UFC and other combat sports as it would be a quick tap or just very difficult to grapple or strike with a broken finger.
The man, the legend...Paul Vunak ❤
Thank you! Knife videos all tell you all the shit about how theoretically you can use knife X for self-defense. How slicey it is and how you can use this feature of the blade to stab your assailant. All the while completely ignoring the fact that a knife fight is first and foremost a violent fight. Nobody walks away from any fight unscathed and in a knife fight, you are gonna get cut and or stabbed. Martial arts is supposed to ultimately teach you responsible self-defense, not about being a badass. Thanks for speaking truth!!!
Show me a video of a finger lock working in real life. At full speed ... in a real fight... Show me a video... Just 1 video.... ??????
Strange how Vunak pushes this mixture of different arts but Bruce Lee didn’t. Bruce Lee didn’t do thai boxing. Bruce Lee stopped doing trapping. Inosanto’s JKD concepts is NOT Bruce Lee’s JKD. This video is an example of the classical mess Bruce Lee talked about avoiding. Sloppy, indirect overly complicated and inefficient.
You are wrong in everything you said.
@@ghfdgtrduh *i’m factually correct* actually. Do more research.
@@ghfdgtrduh”Contrary to other styles, being wise in Jeet Kune Do doesn't mean adding more, it means to minimize, hacking away the unessential." - Bruce Lee
@axelstone3131 - Let's see, using a handful of tools in service of getting to trapping range to finish it. I'd sat that adheres nicely to the quote you posted. Next.
@@ghfdgtrduh you guys never cease to make me laugh. Complete denial about Bruce’s own teachings and what he actually did. Maybe you should try looking at how he trained and not what he said for once.
高手。
When was this made? I knew Ted.
What style do you practice?
Same here, Sir.
Teddy, My friend, and my teacher. Thank you for what you taught us in your boxing and Original PANATUKAN class at the Inosanto Academy. I loved my conversations with your father Lucky. He was one tough man! God Bless You!
Man, I was cringing, you can snap someone's finger just training. Fk that
I'm from India. I want a palm sap! 😭😭😭('Can't get one here)
Great video, thanks
Wally Jay and Bruce Lee we're friends
Awesome ❤
Some of my most fond memories was training with Mr Cruise from Paul's school
Best knife fighting video on RUclips

It's important to remember this is not sport. This is life and death. Not sport. The Chinese call.this chin na.
𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱!🙌 𝗘𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 6:12 King James Version 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. you are good in explanation use please use intellectual skill for teaching the word of God . Please stuydy the word of Salvation brother because eternal salvation more important thing than physical combat🙂
You are intellectual the way talk . i think you will be a great preacher for the gospel of salvation(Word of God) brother😁
new combat lesson master😁
If given the choice between sight or sound you would certainly choose sight"....Paul for years now is someone I have only been hearing about.
Who else hates how the mat sounds when their feet drag across it?
That's cool , but I want to see him fight a MEXICAN
The enemy he doesn't even want to know what happens when I get to my groin
buti pa ang taga ibang bansa alam ang FMA..bkit hndi gaano sumikat ang FMA mismo sa ating bansa
Here's another one. The spinning elbow presented by John Jones.
Great video thanks for sharing this invaluable information!!
i love the opening statement " knife fighting is scienctific" thats right we dont study martial arts you study martial science
that being said when fighting an oppenent with a tool of implement you dont attack the tool you attack the man for the tool is just that a tool only the man has an ability to think so the tool will do what its made to do follow commands of the man wielding it so again stop the man and stop the tool
Great
Elvis has got you all shook up arhaha arha yeah yeahhhhh yeah.🤣🤣🤣
Excellent tutorial well instructed please share more videos like this as im just getting into Eskrima sticks

Weird lookin Filipino. Puti
Cool.
Surprisingly good asmr
This is a really nicely made and explained vid. 👍🏻
This is really dated. We know now what a person can handle when being cut. Even badly. He doesn't know what he's talking about.
